Job Overview
Provides design and deliver architectural solutions. Responsible for solution tuning and optimization. Develop technical relationship with end users and business clients. Mentor junior members of the team
Responsibilities
* Ensure databases and database extraction processes are documented in accordance with SOPs and reported in a timely fashion to support operations
* Design and collaborate with other IT professionals in architecting and implementing solutions
* Coordinate with software testing team to deliver client needs based on SLAs
* Lead daily standups with programming team to ensure deadlines are met
* Interact with operations teams to negotiate timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.
* Promote process improvement and independently bring solutions to IT management
* Lead and mentor team members globally in training and developing technical and/or database expertise
* Maintain good communications with internal and external customers.
* Adhere and promote quality assurance and company and regulatory compliance.
* Perform other duties as directed by functional manager.
* Provide technical expertise to a team of programmers responsible for development and maintenance of client specifications within Q2 Laboratory Information and Data Management systems
* Manage client needs for data transmission requests using extraction tools from laboratory data management systems
Minimum required education and experience
Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related
Hands-on programming skills (back-end, application build).
Good communication skills.
Ability to write technical documentation.
