Job Description

Facebook is seeking a Product Specialist to join the Product Operations team. Product Operations mission is to be the experts on functional quality to improve product teams ability to resolve user issues. We believe that every user interaction should work well so those who join our teams are very passionate about solving people's issues and are strong advocates for the Facebook community. The Product Operations team fuels product quality and engagement by analyzing user issues at scale and advocating for their resolution. As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing the quality and stability of a specific Facebook product. You will leverage data analysis and multiple sources of user feedback to identify user experience themes, prioritize issues, and communicate key takeaways to product, engineering, design, and other cross-functional partners to shape product direction. You will work cross-functionally with other teams within Facebook to improve user experience.

Product Specialist, Product Support Operations, MBA Responsibilities

* Become an expert in the health and quality of a specific product

* Develop and communicate compelling analyses and recommendations over aggregate trends from user feedback

* Build strategic relationships and manage communication and alignment across multiple partner teams

* Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to shape, support, and execute product goals that positively impact the user experience

* Communicate the potential impact of product changes to internal stakeholders

* Instill a focus on quality in the product culture by creating objective data driven stories that influence and convince product teams to prioritize quality projects

Minimum Qualifications

* Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, an MBA degree

* 2+ years of experience working in tech, consulting, or an operational capacity

* Experience with SQL

* Experience prioritizing competing demands in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment

* Experience constructing interpersonal relationships across teams, communicating technical content and analytical insights to multiple audiences

* Experience using data to tell a story and influence direction

* Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Preferred Qualifications

* Track record of leadership and experience working independently
