Job Description

The Manager of Supply Chain Operations for ODM will lead a team responsible for the operational support, performance management, supplier development, and lifecycle management for all Compute, Networking, and Storage equipment required at Facebook Data Centers. The role will partner with key cross functional stakeholders in the development and execution of the sourcing strategies, team development, organizational efficiency, scale, and growth.

Manager, Supply Chain Operations, ODM Responsibilities

* Own Delivery Operations Management activities with ODM partners to include SBR, Order/Change Management, Supply Demand (Supplier commit), commit to plan analysis & reconciliation, business process operations/tools, logistics, OTD Tracking & Measurement, Cost/Price Negotiation, Risk Management/Security/BCP, capacity plan and management, and allocation.

* Analyze the overall supply chain to identify risk and drive resolution to systemic issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-times.

* Manage the supplier relationship leading and coordinating efforts to drive supplier performance improvement across all areas of the business.

* Lead measuring supplier performance, root cause issues, and driving sustained improved performance. Own all aspects of supplier performance.

* Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies in support of the long-range plans.

* Identify key benchmark suppliers in RF-x efforts. Partner to identify evaluation criterion and provide relevant data and recommendations back to internal Facebook team.

* Own and provide should cost and/or market and actual unit and total cost data which feeds into total cost of ownership (TCO) models. Ensure project costs are meeting or beating cost objectives.

* Drive continuous supplier improvement in purchase price and total cost, including supply chain performance cost.

* Measure, report, and action cost improvement as compared to market pricing.

* Act as the primary liaison between ODM supplier and internal teams monitoring, managing, and driving the supplier to assure supply availability is met.

* Propose and execute solutions to eliminate shortages impacting build and ship schedules.

* Interactions involve strategic and tactical procurement activities in a global environment.

Minimum Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience in Sourcing Management or Supply Chain in commercial or technical sourcing.

* Experience in commercial agreement negotiations and execution. Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders and business partners.

* Demonstrated experience improving supply chain and supplier performance, including the use of cost models and objective based performance measures.

* Experience working with international suppliers, knowledge of hardware design, EMS/ODM/JDM/OEM business models, consignment and turnkey materials, cost modeling, supply chain design, and reverse logistics.

* Experience driving a plan to resolution while balancing differing opinions, reaching out across functional boundaries to drive collaboration and sharing credit in a team environment.
