Facebooks Global Industry Marketing team is seeking a full-time and experienced marketing professional who will drive key industry marketing initiatives through our New York Partner Center Program. The Industry Marketing Manager must be someone who innately understands and appreciates the power of thought leadership, partnerships and programming to tell the Facebook story. They must demonstrate the capacity to build a strong networked community both with internal stakeholders and the external advertising Industry and exhibit fluency in working with both global and local teams to drive impact. The Partner Center program serves to unite business culture and community all around the world. While at its heart they are inspiring spaces that bring this together in person in 6 global Facebook locations, in the last year the program has pivoted to deliver innovative virtual programming to our business and industry partners through thought provoking content. The Industry Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing the New York program but also scaling successful programming globally through our wider Industry and Partner Center network. They will have overall responsibility for the physical Partner Center space and define the direction of the NY Program in line with our Global business marketing priorities. The individual who ultimately steps into this role must possess exceptional content programming, organizational and communications skillsand a marketing mindset that is as strategic as it is creative, with a strong audience awareness and fluency in media, advertising and technology. The Industry Marketing Manager must be someone who is a self-starter and thrives in an extremely fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. They should possess a strong work ethic, as well as a genuine passion for marketing and, above all else, the Facebook mission.
Industry Marketing Manager, New York Partner Center Responsibilities
* Manage the NY Partner Center program to ensure it is driving impact for the wider Facebook business - planning and executing against a specific calendar of engagements and activity both virtually and in person
* Partner with cross functional teams to deliver impactful, customized engagements for Facebook's largest external partners - including advertising and agency clients. For high-tier engagements, consulting to craft results-driven agendas with thoughtfully suggested sessions and presenters
* Build bespoke programs focused on engaging the industry, elevating Facebook as a thought leader
* Leverage storytelling skills to incorporate themes and key messages from our Global programs and activations and in line with business marketing strategic pillars
* Build and nurture relationships with leadership and stakeholders in region and wider Global organization
* Lead on all internal marketing efforts for NY Partner Center through a concise and regular communications plan
* Develop new strategies for the NY Partner Center program - execute, test and scale to inform the global partner center program based on results and impact
* Contribute to best practices that promote the Partner Center and Industry program and be able to measure and analyze results
* Partner with global experiences, operations and technical teams on physical NYC space
* Assist with the wider responsibilities involved in content activation at our key Global industry events (for example Adweek, Cannes Lions or internal Leadership Summits)
* Manage on site program coordinator (embedded agency model)
* Manage local budget
* International travel (<30%)
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing or a similar field
* 5+ years experience in sales, communications, project management or marketing functions
* Process and project management experience
* Experience with the sales life cycle and how Facebook and our family of apps and services can shape businesses' success
* Leadership experience along with experience influencing across all levels of the organization, including with executives
* Experience building cross-functional relationships
* Analytical experience
