What youll do

* Leading the development & execution of the local sourcing strategies that delivers a competitive advantage driving the strategic supplier initiatives. This includes supplier selection, development, and supplier consolidation to ensure sourcing optimization and overall supplier performance.
* Own the development of savings pipeline and sourcing execution for assigned commodity(s) or suppliers, including full accountability for buy and meeting deflation and cash targets.
* Performing detailed cost analysis of components & manufacturing processes used by our suppliers to ensure the highest quality at the lowest cost solution.
* Proactive risk assessment of the supply base and development/ execution of mitigation strategies to reduce Single/Sole source risk, secure growth/capacity, and ensure security of supply.
* Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance and developing improvement strategies to ensure business needs are met.
* Partnering with key business stakeholders to ensure sourced material and services meet the current and anticipated needs of the business.
* Lead sourcing contract negotiations as part of a cross-functional team.
* Support the execution of Enterprise projects including acquiringperfo quotes, Supplier Selection, Supplier qualification & on-boarding, and development and perform the project specific Sourcing strategy.
* Support the introduction of new suppliers and products for the Enterprise business.

Who you are

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical subject area, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years' work experience in sourcing or procurement or 9 years work experience in sourcing or procurement.
* 3 years work experience with technical depth/knowledge in assigned commodities, or 3 years of Commercial Sourcing, Supply Chain or Engineering experience.
* Prior experience in communicating with external suppliers, and proficiency in negotiating and executing commercial contracts
* High level of analytical skills and experience in driving global tender processes
* Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of time
* Excellent negotiations skills and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
* Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
