In this position, you will be a valued member of a technical team charged with implementing interactive features and user-friendly designs for the industrys rapid migration to Digital Pathology. Major Responsibilities
This position requires an empathetic innovator who will work closely with key partners to build exciting and reliable web experiences using web, thick-client applications or microservices. Champion projects through all stages of the software lifecycle inception, requirements, design, implementation, documentation, and verification. Key responsibilities include:
* Utilizing the latest web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, WebGL and JavaScript to build scalable, extensible and performant web applications.
* Collaborating with Product Management to incorporate human factors, user experience and customer feedback into product design.
* Writing unit tests and driving verification and validation activities per a tightly controlled quality system.
* Contributing to Design Documentation and defend design decisions in critical design reviews.
* Providing third-tier support for customer installations.
Qualifications
* BA/BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
* 4+ years experience with front-end technologies and front-end frameworks
* Experience in JavaScript and one or more programming languages
* Experience in creating and designing user facing web applications
Desired Skills/Experience
* Experience with Agile processes and SCRUM
* Experience with the latest and greatest web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3
* Knowledge of web libraries and frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue or Knockout
* Familiarity with medical imaging applications, such as in Pathology or Radiology or clinical workflows involving medical imaging
* Capable of identifying innovative solutions to tackle complex problems
* Strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience
