The purpose of this position is: Provides daily quality support of production activities. Inspects samples from production, performs lot releases, and monitors or inspects and tests in-process and finished goods before releasing product into inventory.
This position includes significant duties such as:
Performs electronic transactions including but not limited to the creation of notifications, lot reconciliations, product release, sampling plans and dispositions.
Performs all eCOMS activities related to obtaining and printing of process forms.
Member of the Quality group responsible for review and verification of batch documentation, quality notifications, preventive maintenance and calibration documentation.
Performs sampling of incoming raw materials per inspection plan for QC testing.
Maintains work area and instrumentation in a clean, sanitary, orderly, operational, and safe condition.
Assists in training of new Quality Techs and Production Associates.
Communicates to leadership critical information used to make decisions necessary for the correct disposition of product.
Completes production records/forms recording relevant data onto forms or via electronic data entry (Apriso Super User). Ensures accuracy and good documentation practices per company and cGMP standards.
Reviews manufacturing and quality issues with leadership.
Uses Lean tools (e.g., 5s, 20 Keys, etc.) per current procedures.
Works with hand tools, cleaning equipment and chemicals demonstrating proper safety precautions (i.e., appropriate PPE, BBS Program).
Performs other Quality-related duties as assigned.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required including but not limited to lab coats, hair/beard covers, shoe covers, gloves, ear protection, eye protection and head coverings.

Exposure to high frequency noise.
Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds and up to 65 pounds occasionally.
Exposed to ionizing radiation in sterilizer areas.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: 2 years previous work experience in a technical field/manufacturing environment including performance of quality inspections or serving in a quality control role.
