Job Description

SUMMARY:           

Monitors and operates the PVC production process, including raw material charging, polymerization, blowdown, stripping, drying, and bulk loading of resin; monomer recovery and storage of VCM        

.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates equipment for the Manufacture, stripping, separation, drying, and loading of PVC resin within guidelines of the (JWI) Standard Operating Procedures. 
Operates support equipment for the PVC process; including cooling tower, chilled and hot water, demineralizing and reverse osmotic process water, and steam generation.
Completes appropriate paperwork and inspections for shipment of bulk PVC cars, and unloading of VCM monomer to storage.
Performs routine data collection and recording as scheduled and responds to correct observed abnormalities.    

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

            Four (4) year college degree
