About the Position:
The Delivery Director is a leader in the Services organization and is primarily responsible for the delivery of Professional Services engagements of widely diverse sizes and complexities in the portfolio. From small, tactical engagements where the role is a lot of hands on project management, to managing diverse teams on very large programs and ensuring successful outcomes over long timelines. The Delivery Director needs to be a true Delivery SME, a committed technologist, and passionate about customer engagement, enablement and success.

In addition to Services delivery, the Delivery Director is also a key figure in building the MuleSoft delivery practice, helping onboard new Delivery Managers, coaching and mentoring people on their teams, as well as playing a role in building out process and artifacts to help improve and standardize the practice as a whole.

Key Qualities
The Delivery Director should be:

* Truly passionate about both technology itself and delivering meaningful, lasting customer business outcomes through technology based initiatives. Ideally the idea of building a better IT is personally meaningful.
* A subject matter expert in managing Delivery engagements.
* Passionate about engaging, advising and coaching internal teams and customers.
* A strong team player.
* A thought leader in technology, delivery methodology, and work/life balance.
* Extremely collaborative with the ability to navigate and gain trust across internal and external functional leaders, in high pressure and charged environments.

What youll need to be successful:

* Passion and enthusiasm for technology in general and integration specifically.
* Deep technical project and program management experience (at least 8-10 years) with a history of success managing projects and programs of varying size and complexity
* Experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies required
* Familiarity with standard PMP and Scrum artifacts and practices required.
* PMP/CSM certifications preferred but not required.
* Technical understanding and communication skills needed to evangelize our vision and implement it into project/account planning and collaboration across organizations with people both technical and non-technical.
* Some direct experience in solution/technical architecture OR hands-on development OR implementing integrations is preferred but not required.
* Extremely strong consulting background. Prior hands-on consulting experience in the integration or middleware space preferred but not required.
* Proven track record growing, coaching, and leading a team of high performers
* Embody operational excellence when it comes to revenue forecast, contract terms, etc
* Experience in reviving high pressure/at-risk engagements and mitigating red accounts is required.
