Salesforce.org, a social impact center of Salesforce, is seeking a customer marketing leader to manage our strategic customer marketing initiatives across Nonprofit, Education, and Philanthropy Clouds. We are seeking a detail-oriented project manager that excels at cross-team collaboration. This customer-facing role entails matching customers to incoming prospects, and working with customers on testimonials and joint marketing activities. The successful candidate will lead our customer reference and testimonial programs for our three clouds globally in order to help accelerate and close deals. They will create joint customer marketing plans to highlight stories across channels, while managing customer engagement journeys from start to finish. They will support customer content development for both marketing activities and sales enablement.
This person will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to the Salesforce.org Marketing, Product Marketing, and Sales teams. They will build strong relationships with key stakeholders at Salesforce.org and Salesforce to ensure alignment and amplify Salesforce.org customers across channels.
Key deliverables and projects include:
* Customer Reference Program: Lead reference program, partnering with Sales to source, qualify, and connect existing customers with prospective buyers in order to support deals.
* Customer Testimonial Program: Source and coordinate customer testimonials for third party review sites.
* Joint Marketing Customer Pitch Decks: Collaborate with teams across Marketing and Product Marketing on decks to present on customer calls, providing an overview of potential customer marketing opportunities and our joint marketing journey.
* Database Management: Manage our Customer Advocacy Center database and dashboard in collaboration with all customer marketing stakeholders, keeping an up to date record of all global customer marketing, reference, and testimonial engagements. Organize and maintain a drive with all customer marketing resources to be utilized across the organization.
* Customer Content: Support with writing and editing customer marketing content, including blog posts, web stories, and sponsored articles for strategic customers.
Skills required:
* 4-6 years of relevant experience in program management and marketing
* Desire to work in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and a positive, proactive approach
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in the technology marketing, nonprofit, or education sectors and sales enablement is a plus
