Northrop Grumman Space Sector is searching for an experienced Staff Engineer Electrical Product Lead to join the Electrical Engineering Team within Launch Vehicles business unit located in Dulles, VA or Chandler, AZ.

The Product Lead who will be responsible for supplier oversight during development, qualification and production of an inertial measurement unit (IMU). Experience working with Inertial Measurement Units and/or Inertial Navigation Systems is strongly desired, but not required. The individual will act as the primary technical interface with the supplier and will be responsible for requirements flow down, review of engineering submittals, test procedure approval, test witnessing at the supplier, assessment of root cause and corrective action for supplier failures, development of in-house test procedures and equipment, providing Customer briefings, participating in supplier design reviews, processing supplier design changes, and providing Program support.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:
14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD.

U.S. Citizenship is required

Ability to obtain Secret Security clearance is required

Ability to travel 10% is required

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Secret Security Clearance is preferred
