Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is in search of a Software Test Engineer to function as a software test lead for Advanced Programs in Northridge, CA.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Act as software test technical lead for a small team of engineers
* Develop and execute test plans and procedures
* Write test reports
* Develop software for special test equipment
* Assist with integration and test
* Formal qualification testing
* Interface with the customer
* Provide status to program management
Relocation assistance, while not be guaranteed, may be available.
This position is contingent upon available funding/program award.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance
BSCS, BSEE, or other related engineering discipline with 9+ years experience
Proficient with C/C++
Proficient in the use of basic laboratory test equipment (power supplies, function generators, oscilloscopes, etc.)
Experience writing test plans, procedures, and reports
Experience performing HW/SW integration and test
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Top Secret clearance or Secret clearance adjudicated within the past 5 years
MSCS, MSEE or other related engineering discipline with 7+ years experience
Experience with Agile software development lifecycle
Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Bamboo, Jira, Coverity, Fortify
Experience developing software drivers for standard interfaces such as 232/422, 1553, SPI, GPIB, TCPIP
