Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently looking for a Manager, Facilities Maintenance 2 to work in our Promontory, Utah location.

Description amp; responsibilities:
The F amp;M Manager works under the direction of the Electrical Maintenance Department Senior Manager and is responsible for the day- to-day supervision of the craft team supervisors and the craftsmen. They are a key member of the Facility, Maintenance amp; Tooling leadership team and has administrative responsibilities which include, scheduling, performance reviews, counseling, and interfacing with the customers, engineering, and leadership. In addition, they are expected to spend time at the job sites supporting the crews, promoting safety, quality, cost and productivity. This manager interfaces with engineering to ensure that the work is being performed per approved planning and that all facilities, tooling, machines and materials are appropriate for use, and in proper condition to accomplish work safely, and with the expected quality. They are responsible to ensure that time cards are current, approved and input in a timely manner, supports daily safety craft team rsquo;s startup meetings and monitors critical jobs.

Competencies for Success:
Position requires the knowledge and experience to understand and troubleshoot from electrical/instrumentation schematics. Troubleshoot and repair typical industrial electrical equipment, i.e. perform maintenance on robotics, air compressors, electric generators, DC amp; AC motor controllers, overhead cranes, hydraulics, pneumatics, camera systems, and security systems. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on industrial refrigeration systems, install raceways, enclosures, lighting systems, wiring systems/devices, motors, pumps and related industrial electrical equipment.
Qualification

Requirements:
bull; 9 years of related Electrical Maintenance experience
bull; Bachelor degree (preferred), work experience in lieu of degree may be considered for otherwise qualified candidates.
bull; 2 years of leading crafts teams

bull; Leadership experience, and demonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor other employees.
