Position Title: Filler Operator
Reports to: Operations Leader - 3rd Shift
Location: Forest VA
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
* Meet manufacturing goals as specified by the Line Lead or Supervisor.
* Read, understand and follow work orders.
* Communicate with employees on the mezzanine to ensure correct wax is being poured.
* Program and set up fillers to pour candles; call for maintenance when needed.
* Responsible for the quality of all product poured from the filler. This includes ensuring the correct vessels, wicks, fragrance and fill weights are used. Note: Immediately bring any quality issues to the line leader or Supervisor's attention.
* Ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete. This includes, but is not limited to, the Candle Production Record.
* Work with Quality personnel to figure out quality issues and find solutions
* Know and follow all company safety rules and regulations.
* Works safely in order to help preserve the safety and health of coworkers, guests and visitors as well as their own. Follows all Company safety/accident policies and procedures and adheres to all applicable safety laws and regulations. Notifies management promptly of any safety hazards/violations or accidents/injuries. Participates in safety training. Properly uses and maintains personal protective equipment.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
Typical manufacturing environment. Refer to the specific Work Environmental Checklist for this position. Flexibility in work scheduled is also required for possible overtime, work on holidays, weekends and extend hours with minimal notice and as required by operational need.
Education & Experience Requirements:
* High School diploma or equivalent experience.
6 months - 1 year of manufacturing experience
