The Amazon Connect team is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Principal Product Marketing Manager to lead foundational thought leadership, press opportunities, and go-to-market programs that is changing how the market thinks about customer service.
The Amazon Connect team is on a mission to transform customer experiences and the contact center space. Amazon Connect is one of the fastest growing products at AWS that helps our customers provide superior customer service and stay ahead of their changing business needs. We do this using technologies like machine learning, natural language processing, and the large ecosystem of AWS services like Amazon S3 and AWS Lambda, and the customer-centric technology weve developed to support Amazon.com customer service.
We are seeking a talented Principal Product Marketing Manager, with strong messaging and storytelling skills, to join the Amazon Connect team to develop a customer-centric narratives, marketing strategy, and deliver engaging experiences to drive top-level business goals. As a key team member in this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help lead early market development efforts, establish compelling messaging, drive global growth, and help shape the future of a service category that will have a significant impact on our customers businesses. You will partner closely with AWS Executives, Product Managers, Solutions Architects, Training, Sales, and Partner leads.
Position may be located in Seattle, or near any Amazon/AWS U.S. Corp office only. Relocation offered from within the US only to these locations.
Job Responsibilities:
Development of thought leadership product positioning and customer facing messaging
Work with executive leadership, at both the strategic and tactical level, to champion bold, creative ideas
Articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms
Define strategy, metrics, measurement plan, and testing plan for related thought leadership campaigns
Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences
Own campaigns from end-to-end: managing creative processes, targeting and segmentation, planning, execution, reporting, and optimization
Analyze messaging and campaign effectiveness, data-driven
Work effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve our joint business goals
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as technical marketing, technical pre-sales, consulting, training, or product marketing/management
7+ years demonstrated track record in crafting positioning and marketing content and owning direction of portfolio messaging and all assets for launching & growing innovative technology products
A Bachelors degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as computer science OR 7+ years relevant industry experience in marketing of technical products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the contact center industry
Ability to navigate complex negotiation processes and commercial/legal contract structures with demanding F1000 enterprises; financial acumen to craft ROI based customer proposals
Ability to tell innovative and compelling stories
Experience with leading teams through the design thinking innovation process

The base pay range for this position in Colorado is $ 116,400 - 160,000/ yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
