Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the jewel of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Job Summary
The Staff Engineer Plant is responsible for strategic planning, project management and preventative maintenance of all infrastructure assets. The position oversee all infrastructure maintenance inside and out including functions as a liaison with leased property. Further, as a key member of the maintenance department, this role is responsible to support internal trades.
Job Responsibilities
* Identify long-range solutions to infrastructure repairs, replacement and acquisition.
* Participate in project definition and execution, financial planning and analysis of alternatives.
* Manage plant infrastructure projects to ensure timely cost effective completion.
* Lead maintenance trades staff as needed in facilities projects.
* Manage plant utilities toward reduction of overall cost and sustainment of the environment.
* Identify and execute infrastructure preventative maintenance
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Requirements
Required
* Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience
Preferred
* Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Structural Engineering.
* Experienced in the development and execution of projects involving more than $2,000,000 in capital investment.
* Knowledge of electrical power distribution, industrial building construction, compressed air systems, natural gas and propane distribution systems and equipment.
