Job Title: Marketing Associate
The primary function of this role is to prospect for new clients by networking, attending trade shows or other means of generating interest from potential new clients. The individual must plan a persuasive approach that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.

This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment with a focus towards marketing our company to potential customers with prospecting, communication and customer service.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
* Build relationships with potential new clients through phone calls, emails and site visits as needed.
* Participate in preparation of RFI's and RFP's as requested.
* Attend industry functions such as association events, trade shows and conferences.
* Keep all information in Salesforce and submit weekly progress reports.
* Actively pursue leads generated from potential client lists.

Education / Work Experience:

* High School Diploma or GED is required.
* 5+ years of marketing or inside sales experience is required.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
* Working knowledge of NFPA 10, 25 and 72 is a plus.
