Works with project teams to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed and/or design and execute test plans and procedures for acceptance testing of new or modified applications and/or systems in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, software, automation technology and tools, etc. May provide guidance in the creation of standard test environments, tests plans, and test scripts. Analyzes, designs, documents new or modified QA procedures and standards and assists in the development and implementation of QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered applications and information systems. Provides training and guidance to less experience QA analysts. Perform system and data analysis based on business need including integration testing and data quality validation; Ability to support web services testing with experience including working with system logs and analyzing XML. Must be able to work independently. Responsible for development and execution of testing strategies; able to assist in development of testing approach and strategy (ies); assist with developing and creating test plans, scripts and defect reports. Identify, document and resolve data quality/data integrity issues. Ensures adherence to locally defined standards. Work with Development and other internal QA teams to help report and resolve issues, identify risks, and ensure defects are retested. Provides training and guidance to less experience QA analysts. Provide resolution to an assortment of problems complex in scope, related to Quality Assurance projects.

Required Skills:

* 7+ years experience manual application testing in supporting Trading platforms and knowledge/experience of trading applications.

* 1-2 years experience with SAFE AGILE and SDLC automation methodologies.

* Testing of FIX protocols, FIXML tags validation; Knowledge of securities, Trading conditions, Routing rules Validations; manual and automated regression testing.

* Understands the life-cycle of a Trade from Order Entry to Booking; Familiarity with trade regulations and regulatory reporting; familiar with multiple security types such as Listed Equities, Options, Mutual Funds, ETFs, Treasuries, Corp Bonds, etc.

* Knowledge of TIBCO Message verification, experience with FIX Protocol and XML tagging.

* Ability to review and analyze all project documentation to determine a test approach.

* Ability to create project documentation such as Test Plans, Test Cases/Scripts, Traceability Matrix, Testing Reports.

* Ability to manage QA test process during the life cycle of complex test efforts (project timelines, comprehensive coverage of requirements).

* Excellent writing skills including the ability to translate business requirements into test cases and scripts.

* Participate during weekend Release Production Testing.

* Must be detailed oriented, work in a team environment and independently to solve analytical problems.

* Participating in defect triage calls and send the health check status to different work streams.

* Ability to effectively juggle multiple high priority activities concurrently, work in high paced environment and be organized.

Desired Skills:

* Quality Center knowledge in order to document Software defects and create test cases/scripts- Experience in manual and automated testing- Web testing- - Waterfall and Agile process knowledge- User Interface built using Java and Dot net- SQL SERVER- TIBCO Messages verification on the Middle Tier.
