The Opportunity

As a Consumer and Lending Marketing Manager for Deposits, you will assist leadership in the development of marketing strategies in support of business objectives, collaborating with multiple marketing channel managers as part of a cross-functional marketing team to develop plans, comparing strategies across the team for opportunities to enhance impact, and problem-solving through complexities. Your day to day activities will include supporting leadership in running integrated processes that drive plan creation across the business and marketing teams, managing and reporting against established objectives, and modeling a culture of inclusive thinking and collaboration across all key partners. You will coordinate with leadership and working teams to ensure activities progress according to schedule, risks and issues are identified and mitigated, and marketing plans are running cohesively and hitting timelines and goals. This position reports to the Deposits Marketing Strategy Director.

The Consumer and Lending Marketing Manager for Deposits is responsible for the development and production of key reports and monitoring tools for integration activities, change management, program meeting planning & coordination, and overall marketing plan and execution support. Success in this role requires collaboration, understanding of business objectives, an intuitive mentality and an ability to adapt to change.

The Work Itself

* Provide strategic and operational support to help achieve business goals
* Maintain knowledge of business goals and objectives, as well as understanding of how cross-functional marketing channel teams are aligned to support
* Assist in overall monthly and campaign level reporting of Deposits important metrics and performance vs. goals
* Lead/prepare presentation materials to support marketing program activities, results discussions, and leadership updates with business and marketing teams
* Using digital collaboration tools, manage organization of strategy documents, creative assets and meeting materials/agendas across the cross-functional marketing team
* Support brand awareness vision with cross-functional marketing team, business partners and agency partners through value proposition enhancements
* Prepare and assist in presenting product marketing strategy briefings for agencies or internal teams
* Work with marketing operations to develop and respond to process requests around all Deposits marketing programs to ensure marketing team is consistently within compliance
* Provide input and participate with marketing operations on spend forecasts and plans
* Work with cross-functional marketing and business teams in the day-to-day development and execution of product marketing programs
* As needed, coordinate events for Deposits marketing digital or off-site conferences. Point person for approvals from legal & compliance and work with advertising and brand team to ensure meets brand standards.
* Provide support for social/community content to ensure alignment with broader brand/product strategy
* Some travel may be required post-COVID (timing TBD, frequency determined by initiative and team).

The Skills You Bring

* Bachelors degree required, with 5-7 years of work experience in the financial services industry or in marketing / marketing communications. Previous experience in the field of B2C financial services industry preferred.
* Experience working on complex initiatives, navigating cross-functional teams and working productively with varying levels of seniority and leadership styles; ability to build relationships and collaborate with business and functional partners to deliver solutions and solve problems
* Experience with analytics and KPI management and reporting
* Highly organized and detail oriented, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Self-starter and results oriented able to drive to deadlines, financial targets, project goals, etc.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to structure documents and analyses to effectively communicate with senior management
* Comfortable participating in and / or facilitating large meetings
* General openness - wants to learn and excel in all aspects of job - ambitious but willing to perform tasks at all levels, including some routine or administrative tasks
* High aptitude for new skills, flexibility around work assignments, adaptable to changing priorities, and strong desire to work as part of a team
* Strong PC skills required: Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency is a must. Adept at developing reporting and presentations.
