Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., a world-leading Industrial Gases company is seeking an experienced Pipeline Integrity Management Program (IMP) Assessment & Corrosion Control Program Lead for the North American Pipeline Organization. Areas of pipeline responsibility include Texas, Louisiana, Northern and Southern California, Ohio, Alabama, Arizona, Canada, and other regions as added.

This position will be based out of the LaPorte, Texas pipeline office and be responsible for pipeline integrity assessments and corrosion control program of the Air Products pipelines regulated by U.S. PHMSA and the Canadian CSA regulations. The responsibilities also include compliance with any additional state requirements. The position will serve as the technical expert and will work closely with Air Products personnel, external consultants, and contractors to determine appropriate inspection methods, analysis of the inspection results, and remediations.

Integrity Assessment responsibilities include but not limited to: Scheduling, planning, managing Direct Assessments and In-Line Inspection projects that include setting budgets, assist in vendor selection, managing project budgets, selection excavations sites, and developing remediation plans. Responsible for scheduling and assisting operations in completing integrity pressure tests. Responsible for setting re-assessment intervals and updating the Integrity Assessment Schedule. Ensuring the GIS database is up-to-date and correct. Continuous review and updating all integrity procedures. Developing and enacting Preventative and Mitigative Measures (PM&M). This position will act as the subject matter expert and represent the company during all state and federal inspections.

Corrosion Control responsibilities include but not limited to: Scheduling, planning, managing annual and bi-monthly inspections that include setting budgets, assist in vendor selection, managing project budgets, and developing and implementing remediation plans. Responsible for being the point of contact for all facets of corrosion control including, AC Interference, DC interference, and coating evaluations. Responsible for ensuring the Corrosion Control database is up-to-date and correct. Continuous review and updating all corrosion control procedures This position will act as the subject matter expert and represent the company during all state and federal inspections

This position requires strong communication skills, strong understanding of state and federal regulations, and the ability to work as apart of a knowledgeable team. This position requires interaction with a wide array of individuals both inside and outside of the pipeline group as well as Federal and State Inspectors.

Qualifications / Requirements:

* High school diploma/GED - Trade/Technical degree or apprenticeship in a related field
* Military service in a related field a plus but not required
* 5 years combined experience in Pipeline Integrity Management programs and corrosion control
* 10 years experience in pipeline industry in any of the following areas: maintenance, operations, design, project engineering and/or management
* Communication (written & verbal) and teamworking skills are a must
* Significant experience in pipeline corrosion control and/or integrity management
* NACE (AMPP) certification in CP or Integrity management. Other certifications can be acceptable based on experience/education level.
* Travel can be as much as 20%
* Attention to detail and organization is a must
* American Innovations PCS experience is a plus but not require
* SAP experience is a plus but not required
