Job Description
This position is responsible for maintaining the overall functionality of the RxPipeline database, which serves as the foundation of all downstream products and services involved in the CVS Health Pipeline Process. Collaborates with IT and CCA teams to assess and implement database improvements and fixes. Determines budget and funding requirements and assembles value propositions for senior leadership around enhancements to the database and associated reporting tools. Develops and maintains automated processes used by the Pipeline team in its provision of strategic pipeline information to internal and external customers. Also performs all functions of the Pipeline Senior Analyst role, including daily surveillance and processing of pharmaceutical pipeline intelligence subject matter and incorporation into the Pipeline teams products and services. Individual also supports prescription claims data analysis reporting needs for the larger Clinical Affairs department, in support of the National P&T; Committee and other internal partners.

Required Qualifications
1. Strong attention to detail
2. Strong internet research and information retrieval skills
3. Advanced Microsoft application skills e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access as well as technical competency in a developer role with WEB-based applications
4. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
5. Ability to mentor junior staff
6. Experience in updating operational support tools including executive dashboards, reports, and templates
7. Experience in engaging with various decision makers to help facilitate business decisions and approvals
8. Ability to implement operational technology enhancements, leveraging data driven solutions when necessary
9. Experience engaging with IT partners to resolve production related issues and/or RxPipeline enhancements.
10. Advanced knowledge of FDA approval and drug development process
11. Data Analysis Experience including report design, development, and root cause analysis
12. Understanding of relational databases and SQL/Teradata
13. Project/Incident Management experience
14. Advanced understanding of medical terminology and intermediate comprehension of medical literature

Preferred Qualifications
1. Pharmacy technician experience
2. Formal project management training and experience
3. Experience in analyzing prescription claims data, identifying trends, and producing reports for executive leadership and other partners
4. Experience in manipulating and designing Tableau dashboards
5. Experience with SAS reporting and programming
6. Experience in a PBM or other managed care environment

Education
Bachelors degree in a field relevant to health care
