The incumbent in this role is responsible for the development and advancement of decentralize pharmacy practice and service provision. The Clinical Coordinator should constantly seek to identify and take advantage of opportunities to improve the health and wellness of the patients served in conjunction with the overall goals and objectives of the Hospital.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor degree (minimum) in pharmacy from an accredited college
* Current pharmacist license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
* Completion of a residency and BCPS certification or equivalent
* 2-5 years (minimum) of practical experience as a clinical pharmacist in an acute care setting
Skills and Abilities Requirements:
* Demonstrates leadership skills such as self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation and empathy
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to educate patients, pharmacy staff and providers
* Works well with others in a team-based environment
* Computer based analysis and coordination
