We are seeking a highly motivated Performance Management Special Initiatives Consultant to join our Center of Excellence team to help build and sustain an integrated performance management, career & development function at Wells Fargo. This person will be charged with ensuring a cohesive, end-to-end performance and development program focused not only on mitigating bias and risk, but also on successfully managing and developing talent across the company with the goal of empowering employees to deliver their best work now and in the future.
This role offers an experienced HR or Leadership Development professional the opportunity to work in a fast paced, collaborative team, committed to delivering first-class HR solutions for the enterprise.
Reporting to the Head of Performance Management, this roles core areas of focus include:
* Integrated project management / business administration / support
* Ongoing cycle activity tracking
* Cross-functional issues / risks / dependencies
* Executive ready status reports and timelines
* Board materials, special initiatives and deliverables
Candidates should be influential and results-oriented individuals who can develop and manage relationships within and outside of HR, while ensuring we are caring for every element on the platform in support of running our cycles and realizing our strategic roadmap and program objectives.
Key responsibilities:
* Heavy engagement with the Center of Excellence (COE) leadership team to track and manage end-to-end tasks and deliverables required to support the broader performance, career + development program
* Serve as point of contact for the extended team to identify issues / risks / dependencies and ensure activities are in alignment with short and long-term program goals
* Prepare and deliver board / committee / business review materials
* Maintain cross-functional relationships with key HR leaders across Total Rewards, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, Talent, Learning, Employee Relations, Culture, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to drive superior results
* Identify continuous improvement opportunities with an emphasis on keeping the team connected in all we do to support our clients and shareholders
* Manage and prioritize key initiatives and roadmap deliverables across the platform

Required Qualifications
* A BS/BA degree or higher
* 5+ years of compensation or performance management experience
* 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning
Desired Qualifications

* Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management

* Prior knowledge of enterprise-driven performance and talent management processes
* Exceptional ability to influence senior executive stakeholders, flexing style and approach as required in a range of complex situations
* Strong project management skills, technology proficiency, systems thinking and quality orientation
* Strong strategic and analytical skills with background in leveraging data to tell the right story and creating materials for executive level consumption
* Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset. Ability to perform a high-level of operational work, mixed with senior strategic work, in close partnership with cross-functional peers
* Excellent planning and follow up skills
* Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment
* Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities at once with multiple senior stakeholders across lines of business and HR
