Billing Representative - Associate Business Analyst - Remote Nationwide

This position supports Revenue Cycle Management Initiatives for local Health Plans as well as general business needs for the region. This Analyst is responsible for working with Quest Health Plan AEs to resolve reimbursement, denials, and other Health Plan Payment Issues. This entails tracking the issues for Finance and pulling accession detail to share with the Health Plan. The Analyst is responsible for creation of reports for AR, denials, write off, as well as other special projects for the Revenue Cycle Management regional team.

Working Schedule: This is a full-time work from home position with standard Monday through Friday 40-hour work week with overtime when business need occurs.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Consult with health plan to identify and resolve denial and reimbursement issues
* Perform Business Analysis specific to reimbursement and billing opportunities
* Ability to define project objective, scope, write business requirements
* Communicate and validate requirements with stakeholders
* Validate solution meets business needs
* Ability to work through minimal business problems and determine root cause
* Escalate issues to the Manager as appropriate

Required Qualifications:

* High School Diploma/ GED
* 2 + years' experience in using Microsoft Excel with emphasis on data analysis and creating reports
* 2+ years utilizing Microsoft Office Suite Applications in a professional setting
* 2 + years of experience using virtual meeting applications

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree
* Prior Healthcare Industry experience
* Previous experience in Claims Analysis
* Experience in Project Management and Project Management Life Cycle
* 2 + years' experience evaluating and analyzing data using SQL to report and display results
* 2 + years' experience in using Microsoft Access to create reporting and interactive User Interfaces for large amounts of users
