Job Description

As a member of the Genetic Sciences Commercial Finance team, this Senior Financial analyst plays a key role in driving forward the growth and profitability of the business. This Financial Analyst role will be a key partner in providing financial support including forecasting, revenue analytics, and reporting for the North America Commercial teams. This includes, but is not limited to, trend analysis, detailed risk and opportunity insight, operating expense management, month end reporting and ad hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Partner closely with business leaders to identify risks and opportunities to ensure top line commitments are met
* Lead monthly OPEX and HC reporting and forecasting and commission analysis
* Provide direct business support to the N. America Marketing leader
* Support consolidated N. America revenue forecasting and reporting activities
* Build and maintain revenue analytics to provide insight into business performance and key drivers

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

* 2-5 years of related experience in financial planning and analysis, reporting, and accounting leadership in complex, multinational organization.
* BA/BS major in accounting, business or technical field preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to operate independently with broad guidance against a framework of defined business objectives in a matrix environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Intellectual curiosity, versatility, adaptability
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills including ability to take an independent stance when interfacing with cross functional stakeholders. Comfortable presenting information to multiple management layers, up to and including Group Executives.
* Constructive attitude with emphasis on collaboration.
* Technical ability to effectively navigate interplay between all financial systems (E1, SAP, EDW, Hyperion Planning, HFM/CMR), and strong Microsoft Office skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; must be able to elevate perspective at the appropriate time. Experience in BI tools would be a plus
* Strong and confident communicator: essential to have credibility within a dynamic, challenging environment and in the context of providing outstanding business partnering support.
* Desire to formulate and drive process improvements, challenging the status quo.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines while delivering consistent, accurate and reliable work.
* Demonstrated focus on being able to translate data and metrics into predictable, value-added business insight.
