Molding Supervisor - 3rd Shift
Job Purpose: To plan, direct and supervise injection molding employees in their day to day manufacturing assignments.
Nature of Duties:
Familiarity with all aspects of injection molding machines (Electric and Hydraulic)
Some previous knowledge of various grade resins or ability to learn the same
Quick problem solving skills
Decoupled molding techniques a plus
Direct qualified subordinate employees to their machine assignments, based on skill levels
Supervisor the day to day operators of machines and equipment
Proficiently be able to operate all machinery.
Locate and use all paperwork.
Review proper set up all production jobs
Review and confirm quality checks if needed.
Possess the ability and knowledge to train operators in specifics of jobs.
Locate or develop samples
Ability to administer discipline in a tactful manner and with respect, to subordinate employees
Basic computer skills needed, including Oracle, Shop Vue and other computer programs.
* Lead and Support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives within the facility.
Education and Experience: Prefer previous molding machine knowledge and skills. High School diploma. 1-2 years of experience required.
