Our Role:

We are looking for an astute, determined professional like you to fulfill a Senior Quantitative Developer within our Quantitative Equity Strategies team. You will showcase your success through collaboration, ownership and innovation. Your expertise in emerging trends and practices will evoke stimulating discussions around optimization and change to help keep our competitive edge. Your Impact:

* Development of robust applications to support the firms research and production requirements
* Maintenance of existing code to ensure the necessary level of quality throughout the codebase.
* We are committed to developing clean, intuitive, unit-tested and well-documented software using industry best practices and the individual in this position must share this philosophy.
* Support all aspect of the investment process covering research, signal generation, portfolio construction, order submission and post-trade analysis.
* Communicate effectively across a number of different groups to be successful.
* In addition to the direct role in software development, we seek an individual that will champion software best practices across the group.

Your Required Skills:

* BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics required; advanced degree a plus
* Minimum 7 years of experience working with large financial datasets and building language extensions to manage those datasets.
* Experience with a variety of asset classes is desirable, including equity, equity derivatives, futures, bonds, preferred stocks, foreign exchange and commodities
* Strong experience developing python-based user interfaces
* Strong programming skills in python and SQL (Oracle or Microsoft)
* Skill with git source control systems
* Solid numerical programming abilities
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written
* Detail and Team oriented

Your Desired Skills:

* Knowledge of portfolio management and quantitative asset management (on the buy side) a plus
* Familiarization with portfolio optimization a plus
