We are looking for a Director, Senior HR Business Partner to join the Retail Advice & Solutions team whose purpose is to bring financial advice and solutions to individuals, families, and businesses when, where, and how they want to be served. We are seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful professional who take initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited about being part of a team responsible for delivering advice and solutions to an ever-expanding addressable market. You should be comfortable operating in a dynamic environment (HR transformation underway), and have experience successfully navigating the complexities of a large organization.

The successful candidate will partner with the Prudential Advisors Western Territory Leadership Team and collaborate with fellow HRBPs (supporting the Eastern and Southern Territories, respectively) to accelerate the success of the territorys sales force, delivering advice to millions. The HRBP will drive a winning talent strategy that includes delivery of HR operations and employee relations support to the Territory Leadership Team, creating an environment for a fully inclusive culture to thrive. Qualified candidates will have experience in all HR related disciplines including, but not limited to talent management and development, organizational capability building, compensation, talent acquisition, inclusion and diversity.

Responsibilities:

* Drive talent strategy to maximize business outcomes and value to the Retail Advice & Solutions organization
* Influence leaders to own differentiating talent performance and potential, and reward and recognize appropriately
* Enable business leaders to work through talent management processes such as calibration, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, succession management and organizational design and development to deliver the highest value to the enterprise
* Coach and drive high performing leaders and teams as role models of culture
* Take a data-driven approach to monitoring health and effectiveness of the organization; headcount and diversity/representation metrics, retention analyses, work force planning, compensation forecasting and budgeting, and benchmarking to develop relevant and effective talent strategies and solutions.
* Advise business leaders on organizational design and development, including restructurings.
* Support leaders of people as they execute talent and engagement strategies.
* Develop and implement strategies for building and retaining a diverse workforce; embed I&D principles into talent practices and decisions
* Establish and maintain effective relationships with key partners across the Prudential HR organization to maximize impact of Prudentials HR capabilities.
* Field HRBP responsibilities will include implementation and oversight of Field HR operations delivery (e.g., direct support for Field Management talent acquisition, involvement in FP and Field Management payroll inquiries/escalations, FP leave of absence oversight) and employee relations (e.g., Field Management performance management/PIP support, FP discipline process support) work for the Western Territory. Note, these functions are supported by the new HR Operating Model for Home Office only, not the Field.

Qualifications

* Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources Business Partner role.
* Solid experience in all major HR disciplines.
* Business and Financial Acumen: high ability for business judgement and understands business strategy
* Strategic Thought Leadership: innovative mindset with a willingness to challenge the status quo
* Talent & Capabilities Expertise: relevant experience in talent management, organizational effectiveness/design, change management and coaching
* Influence with Impact: successful in influencing leaders and employees in making talent and business decisions to drive the right outcomes; leverages a combination of impeccable verbal and written communication skills, highly developed emotional intelligence and savvy navigation of complex business structures
* Consultative Problem Solving: ability to identify and develop solutions with the business, COEs and enterprise goals in mind
* Inclusion & Diversity: focuses on creating an environment of honesty, inclusion and respect for others; champions differing ideas and perspectives; strong track record in helping leaders build and retain diverse, inclusive teams
* Data & Talent Analytics Insights: leverage data and analytics to drive effective HR and business outcomes; ability to resolve problems, make decisions independently and clarify key issues in complex situations
* Resilience with Critical Attention to Detail: ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize both independently and within a team; produces high quality work with attention to detail; ensures follow-through, drive for results and initiative with the ability to bring issues to closure
* Working knowledge of Prudential benefits, ability to appreciate and articulate the differences between such for employee and Financial Professional populations; ability to effectively communicate Prudential Benefits Value Proposition to prospective candidates.
* Experience with advice delivery and sales distribution organizations, a plus.
* Strong technical skills including proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Workday, a plus
* Field sales HR operations experience a plus; interest and ability to rapidly learn the business and dig into Field HR Operations details, a must!
* This position is virtual and may require up to 20% travel within the US, when 'return to workplace' strategies are fully implemented. Selected candidate is not required to live/work from within the Western Territory.

*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident.

Salary range specific to Colorado: $122,500-$162,700 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
