ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Employee is responsible for servicing production departments with materials to and from the production departments. Team member must work in an organized, accurate, timely and safe manner. Employee must be able to demonstrate good work ethics in teamwork and individual work. Employee must be able to work well under pressure and execute duties in a prioritized manner daily. Has responsibility for meeting department targets for safety, quality, cost, customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES & SAFETY Communicate regularly with production departments on material needs Safely operate forklift throughout the facility Responsible for housekeeping and organization standards in assigned areas of warehouse Properly handle material within company protocol Mark pallets as required for identification Follow set priorities throughout shift Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with all personnel levels Possess the ability to lift, stoop and bend with no restrictions Follow all company safety rules & procedures Perform weekly forklift safety verification. Always follow Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when in designated work areas Other duties as assigned SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND/OR EXPERIENCE Ability to work independently and within a team equally Be able to communicate concern, issues and work duties effectively. Ability to solve basic math problems Experience working in a fast-past environment/ manufacturing plant Previous in: Shipping/ Receiving/ Material Handling (preferred) Experience driving a clamp attachment (preferred) Bilingual, English & Spanish (preferred) Ability to learn quickly and self-motivated with tasks and duties as assigned 6 months of Class I (sit down) forklift experience required TRAINING REQUIRED Forklift Certification Battery Charging Standard Safety Training EQUIPMENT/ TOOLS USED Forklift Hand Pallet Jacks Shrink Wrapper/Palletizer Steel toe/composite shoes required Additional equipment as needed/ assigned
