Commercial Services Tools (CST) team is part of the larger C+E division develops some of Microsoft's largest scale and business critical cloud services. The platform integrates with all of Microsoft's key services - Windows App Store, Windows Phone, XBOX, Bing Ads, Office 365, Azure to name just a few. Whether issuing a credit, transferring accounts, cancellation of invoices, credit/rebill of purchases for Xbox LIVE, Windows or Windows Phone device, Azure services, CSS are using the CST and CMAT platform.
We are the CST Services team and are responsible for the services which power Microsoft's customer management tools. We specialize in a massive transactional infrastructure that handles the core commerce functionality of Azure, Xbox Live, Windows and Phone services. Customer agent uses these tools to handle customer escalations of Windows App Store, Windows Phone, XBOX, Bing Ads, Office 365 and Azure.

* Design, build and manage features for highly scalable services.
* Create feature specifications in co-ordination with your feature team.
* Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods for operating services and systems; assess design and code changes to drive improvements.
* Improve service engineering excellence.
* Improve transparency and monitorability of services.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering OR 10+ years cumulative software development experience.
* 10+ years cumulative software development experience
* 5+ years' experience with .Net, C, WebAPI, Azure, and/or No-SQL technologies
* Expertise in one of the core technical areas - networking, distributed systems, cloud technologies and tools
* Ability to work in an agile environment, learning and adapting quickly.
Preferred qualifications:
* Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, design and coding skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated cross-team collaboration and organizational skills.
* Prior experience of building a large-scale online service is a plus and will be given special consideration.
