Job Description
McDonalds is looking for a dynamic Administrative Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to build upon your professional experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will be a critical team member and will perform a wide variety of specialized and administrative functions for four Senior Directors on our DEI team. The top candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills and a proven track record getting results in a team environment and independently.

* Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks including managing a very active calendar of appointments; submitting expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings
* Responsible for completing and tracking external DEI surveys and external conference engagement
* Participate in the coordination and editing of communications for senior leaders and functions that align with and support the overall goals of the team and organization
* Work directly with departments to effectively communicate vital employee matters (i.e. employee transfers, recognitions, anniversaries) to appropriate audiences
* Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the VP, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response
* Works independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion
* Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the VPs office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff and others
* Track timelines and coordinate the completion of ongoing department projects
* Generate department related reports, coordination of team meetings
* May assist with on-boarding process

Qualifications
* Relevant administrative assistant experience, Bachelors degree preferred
* Executive support experience, including supporting C-level executives
* Experience planning meetings or events highly desirable
* Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Strong communication, project management and critical thinking skills
* Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
* Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance
* Exceptional organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail with superior follow-through
* Aptitude to juggle multiple projects, switch gears at a moments notice and appropriately meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and ability to complete large volumes of work efficiently and effectively
* Must be proactive with a desire to stretch beyond the task list to support the team
* Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving business and work environment, across multiple time zones
* Professional, reliable, driven and results-oriented
* Must have diplomacy skills
