The GSD team is looking for an experienced Senior Analyst with strong Project Management knowledge and analysis skills. This role will perform various duties and research task to support our Publishing project work. This is an essential role that requires going into the office in Dover, NH.
Job Responsibilities
* Support or leads workstreams within a smaller sized to moderately complex projects.
* Coordinate team resources, direct team members, and distribute responsibilities.
* Perform various tasks to support Publishing project work (i.e. Chargebacks, minimal data entry)
* Develop and apply learning of Agile framework to support project-related cadences. (i.e. Manage all support requests through JIRA, collaborate in scrum teams, execute in sprint cycles, perform retrospectives to refine process)
* Owns or contributes to defining the business case with input from stakeholders. Identifies and gains agreement on project objectives, scope, timing, and resources.
* Plans activities/tasks that will deliver the desired results and oversees day-to-day work and monitoring of progress towards goals.
* Actively engage in project meetings and help prepare regular reports to communicate the status of projects to stakeholders within and beyond the project team.
* Escalates and works to resolve issues that serve as roadblocks and/or place project objectives at risk. Identifies and provides visibility into trade-offs between options, while identifying recommended approach.
* Performs project close-out steps to include identifying lessons learned/best practices to inform the success of future projects. Applies continuous improvement methodologies throughout the project management lifecycle.
Qualifications:
* Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills; effective team building skills.
* Solid Finance and Accounting knowledge and ability to leverage advanced Excel functions required.
* Solid knowledge of project management principles and concepts. Proven ability to manage the project management life cycle. Proficient with project management tools (i.e. status reporting, Excel project plans).
* Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 5+ years of relevant experience to include project work.
