Job Description

The Intermediate Analyst is an experienced subject matter expert who performs analysis and announcement of complex corporate actions/legal notifications, and will assist the leadership team on workflow coordination tasks, tech assignments, and special projects. Supports the development of new techniques and streamlining of processes and manual touch point reduction.

. Must have an aptitude for detailed writing, and reading of complex documentation and corporate actions financial literature/investor publications

Serves as subject matter expert for complex CA voluntary and mandatory events UAT and training initiatives

. Must possess critical thinking abilities and a proven aptitude towards process improvements

Provides creative solutions to reduce errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies

Train new team members and lower level personnel

. Performs checker/QC level functions for less experienced staff

Manage and complete special projects as assigned

Manages daily operational activities and work with manager to ensure workflow completion in fast-paced-deadline-driven environment.

Strong communication, critical thinking, problem resolution, and diplomacy skills are required.

Qualifications

* MBA/Bachelors degree preferred
* 5+ years of financial industry/securities experience with preference to corporate actions and securities operations.
* Preference for candidate with macro-writing and process-improvement track record
* Technically skilled in Corporate Actions, and Operations experience a plus.
* Demonstrates excellent analytical, risk prevention and judgment skills.
* Able to facilitate discussions, challenge technology teams, and prospectus issuing agents, and present concise decisions and recommendations to management
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Advanced MS Excel skills including Visual Basic
* Strong attention to detail, time management and problem solving skills.
