Job Description

The SVP, Credit Portfolio Group Manager role is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team to monitor the Citi portfolio and support the effort to continue the growth of the business by continually searching for opportunities to improve Risk Capital, Capital Management, CCAR/CECL program execution, TCE adoption and Economic assessments. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a large, sophisticated credit granting or Risk Management/Finance organization within a major consumer card, financial services, retailing or consulting business. Their experience will have been gained in high volume, medium-to high risk environments, where risk assessment, technological sophistication, and data mining techniques are critical to their success. This individual will bring a strong analytical orientation, an appreciation for broad-based risk/profitability issues and a familiarity with Operations.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and develop a team of risk analysts and manage complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas
* CCAR
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating
* and CECL program execution and ongoing management
* CCAR and CECL model oversight includes leading the development, monitoring and implementation of econometric and empirical loss forecasting and stress testing models and methodologies
* Providing regular updates on key loss forecasting and stress testing deliverables as well as related portfolio trends to senior management
* Cross-functional interfacing with internal teams (Independent Risk, Business, Finance, and accounting policy); as well as external regulatory & audit teams
* Overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements and Citis policies as well as to share best practices, in collaboration with Citis internal Independent Risk Organization and other teams
* Identifying opportunities to improve Risk Capital, TCE adoption, and economic assessment
* Track and report on initiatives, performance results, emerging trends and opportunities to senior management
* Establish cross-functional partnerships and networks in order to support the execution of cross-functional and business initiatives
* particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

* 10+ years of experience in credit risk management or equivalent training
* 5+ years of experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of scorecards/econometric loss-forecasting models/stress-testing models
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to prepare presentations for executive level audience and familiarity with MS Office Suite
* Detailed-oriented, high level of intellectual curiosity and strong sense of ownership
* Good business acumen and the ability to connect analytics with business decisions
* Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and the current environment which govern lending policies and practices both locally and in the U.S.
* Experience in managing Big Data capabilities, and business intelligence tools (e.g. Cognos, Tableau)
* Experience with Statistical Tools such as SAS, SQL, Model Builder, Xeno, Knowledge Studio

Education:

* Bachelors in Business, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics and related disciplines.
* Masters degree preferred.
