Business Financial Analyst, Senior

The Challenge:

The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create powerful change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be a challenge. Thats why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make our Navy's resources can make the most impact. As a financial analyst on our team, youll create a financial management strategy to help your client's project succeed. Youll work with project management, task leads, and acquisition, cost, programming, and budget analysts to build an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.

Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, youll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, youll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project management and your task leads. You Have:

* 7+ years of experience with budget planning, preparation, and execution for acquisition programs
* Experience with the preparation of reports that reflect programs or project status in areas of cost, schedule, and performance
* Experience with the Program Budget Information System (PBIS), Automated Funding Document System (AUTODOC), Standard Accounting Reporting System (STARS), Prisms, or Cobra
* Secret clearance
* BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

* 3+ years of experience with the Navy
* Experience with Navy ERP
* Experience with using Microsoft Excel
* Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or DAWIA Level I Certification in Business or Financial Management

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
