Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Field Service Representative to support MH-47G program at Fort Campbell, KY

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical assistance on matters pertaining to MH-47G avionics and electrical maintenance. Provides liaison between BSAS, the prime airframe manufacturer, others contractors, and U.S. Government maintenance personnel. Provide on-the-job (over-the-shoulder) training to U.S. Government avionics and electrical maintenance personnel assigned to AVUM and AVIM levels of maintenance and operations covering operational checkouts, system analysis, system/subsystem replacement/adjustment and servicing related to the MH-47G aircraft. Provides avionics technical assistance in the form of informal training on unit and intermediate levels of maintenance of primary and associated test equipment. Provide technical assistance to resolve difficult or unusual avionics and electrical problems. Assist in analysis of maintenance difficulties in establishing maintenance and inspection procedures to improve the quality of maintenance. Provide technical assistance in the interpretation of modification work orders, manuals, engineering drawings and schematics pertaining to the MH-47G aircraft.

Primary FSR Roles:

Provide technical advice for troubleshooting and repair at Organizational and Intermediate (O&I) maintenance levels to support air base operations.

Provide OJT to aircraft mechanics for O&I level maintenance tasks.

Provide aircraft systems operation explanation to Customer maintenance and aircrew personnel.

Provide Surge support at designated off-site or field locations on ad-hoc basis.

Access Boeing engineering design drawings to prepare responses technical requests for assistance.

Primary FSR Responsibilities:

Evaluate reported aircraft problems, make preliminary determinations, propose course of corrective action, prepare and communicate comprehensive responses to customers.

Participate in safety-of-flight field inspections.

Provides technical support for product modification trial installations.

Assist customer achieve aircraft availability and mission capability.

Submit Technical Requests and Status Reports in Boeing VECTOR field correspondence system.

Provide technical and instructional assistance to customer for equipment installation, maintenance, operation, adjustment systems troubleshooting and parts recommendation.

This position requires an active US Secret Security Clearance US Citizenship required. (A U.S . Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):

* Minimum 5 years experience maintaining MH-47G avionics and electrical systems

* Minimum 5 years previous Chinook aircraft Organizational and Intermediate levels maintenance experience

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

* At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Previous Chinook scheduled Phase maintenance experience is desirable

* Previous experience supporting the military customer is beneficial

* Previous experience interpreting engineering drawings, documents and/or blueprints is beneficial

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
