Our team simplifies the complex work for our Investment Bankers managing the biggest financial transactions in the world by transforming manual and established processes into modern solutions. We work hand-in-hand with our clients to understand their needs to provide an intuitive user experience. Our dynamic and diverse team leverages the latest technologies to support new apps, modernize our architecture (monolith to microservices), improve our data strategy, and more.

Located in the heart of downtown Houston, we are one of six global strategic technology centers for Global Investment Banking Technology. With every sprint, we solve extremely challenging projects using the latest technologies.

Your typical day includes participating in our Agile software development process and developing code using technologies including Java, Spring, messaging platforms, search and cache technologies, and modern web UI technologies. Youll be collaborating in a global team with members in New York, Glasgow, London, Mumbai, and Bangalore, where youll be rewarded for taking initiative and unleashing your creativity to help solve problems.

Our ideal team member has a strong working knowledge of:

* Core Java and Spring/Spring MVC/Spring Boot
* Object Oriented Programming and design principles (OOP/OOD/SOLID)
* Web development fundamentals
* Messaging
* Web services (SOAP and ReST)
* Threading

Other helpful skills:

* Agile/Scrum
* Apache Tomcat
* Oracle Database
* Maven, Git
* DevOps and software development lifecycle
* Automated unit testing and Test Driven Development
* Familiarity with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as jQuery, ReactJS or Kendo
