Job Description
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* Applied development experience using dynamic and static languages like Python, Groovy, Java, Scala etc. and recent experience with Python
* Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Familiarity with TDD and / or BDD
* Familiarity with SQL/No-SQL databases
* Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes / micro-services / Spark / Kafka
* Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
* Working proficiency in enterprise developmental toolsets like Jenkins, Git/ Bitbucket, Sonar, Black Duck, LeanFT, UFT, HP ALM, Puppet, Splunk, Apigee etc.
* Working proficiency with Agile, Lean and Continuous Delivery best practice
* Knowledge of software best practices like refactoring, clean code, domain driven design, encapsulation etc.
* Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communication
* Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
