Join Insights Digital Innovation team as a Senior Front End Developer and work closely with an award-winning team of engineers, architects, and thought leaders to design and implement next-generation solutions. We are looking for a UI / Front End Developer with practical, hands-on experience in web development. What our Senior Front End Developers Do

* Responsible for the accuracy and quality of the deliverables generated at each step in the software development lifecycle
* Build cutting-edge applications for companies ranging in scale from startup to Fortune 100 in a variety of industries including health life sciences, finance, manufacturing and more
* Work directly with clients to understand the deep technical problems that slow them down
* Map business needs to technical solutions that will make clients more relevant and competitive
* Collaborate with a team as the Front End expert to rapidly prototype and prove solutions using the latest technologies
* Commit to grow and develop in key career competencies to meet emerging tech needs
* Deliver technical recommendations / presentations to groups of peers and/or clients
* Provide assistance in interviewing and technical screening of new employee candidates

What We Look For

* Experience with one or more modern Front End frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
* Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript
* Knowledge of / familiarity with Design Systems & Atomic Design principles
* Knowledge of scalable CSS architecture methodologies & software design principles
* Knowledge of gitflow / source control best practices
* Experience working in close collaboration with designers and good understanding of visual / interaction design principles
* Knowledge of Services Oriented Architectures, RESTful Interfaces & Enterprise Application Patterns
* Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience setting up Front End build tooling
* Familiarity with accessibility best practices
* Familiarity with web performance best practices
* Experience setting up / writing Front End unit, integration, and end to end tests
* Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies, and passion to deliver quality solutions both individually and as part of a team
* Comfortable in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills, independent self-direction coupled with team collaboration, and open communication
* Knowledge of the principles & patterns of Agile software development

Nice to Have

* Community involvement (conference speaking, blogging, meetups)
* Experience architecting Front End on large scale applications
* Experience with back end technologies
* Experience with design / prototyping tools

Compensation is determined by experience, skills, and fair market value: $90,000 to $125,000. This role qualifies for a bonus program. Candidates outside of this provided compensation range will be considered.
