Multi Asset Solutions
Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) is a multi-asset class investing group that sits within the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs. It designs and develops comprehensive investment management solutions customized to meet the investment objectives and relevant constraints of clients. These solutions bring together state-of-the-art techniques for multi-asset portfolio design and implementation and reflect proprietary research and analytics conducted by the MAS team. With investment professionals across the globe, MAS invests or advises on assets for some of the world's leading corporations, sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, governments, financial institutions, endowments, foundations, and family offices.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate would serve on the Portfolio and Client Management teams within Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) working with a wide variety of North American institutions such as pensions, endowments, foundations, not-for-profit hospitals, and insurance companies. The candidate would be responsible for many day-to-day responsibilities associated with managing existing client relationships, and designing and monitoring client portfolios. This role is highly analytical and detail oriented.
Core responsibilities include:
* Assist in client relationship management, which includes portfolio and manager review, responding to client's investment-related questions, managing client investment needs, proposing new strategies aimed at enhancing portfolio characteristics, and drafting materials (e.g., PPT/Word documents, emails) to support these discussions.
* Assist in monthly performance reporting for existing relationships.
* Support portfolio management activities during new client on boarding, portfolio restructures, and other portfolio changes.
* Portfolio construction of complex, multi-asset class, and whole-of-wallet client portfolios, which includes running portfolio optimizations, constructing liability-hedging portfolios, and research on investment management products.
* Daily oversight of client portfolios, which includes monitoring risk and performance and staying abreast of market trends and dynamics and how they may impact portfolios.
* Content development involving client and prospect presentation books, request for proposals, and other investment-related analyses.
