Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Reporting, in this role you will act as the product manager for our enterprise self-service data assets. You will manage the roadmap, planning, and interface with the development teams. You will partner with business units to determine needs for self-service data access and design solutions that meet those needs. The objective of this role will be to create and manage a seamless experience for report developers and analysts as they use data to inform and run our business.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

* Work with the data community to align our self-service data assets to meet the needs of the business
* Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to develop best-in-class interactive experiences that meet the business objectives of the organization while advancing our data visualization positioning and information-based decision making
* Collaborate with architects and data stewards to ensure effective utilization of enterprise tools and platforms and optimize solution performance using best practices
* Translate thought leadership content into consistent data solutions
* Rapidly design, prototype and iterate on creative concepts
* Remain knowledgeable in current trends for data exploration and big data technologies
* Possess sound understanding of data structures for analytics
* Develop how to guides for new and existing reporting solutions
* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience and Education:

* 7+ years experience
* Experience in a subscription business preferred
* BA/BS or Masters degree in business, management information systems, or business intelligence and analytics
* Excellent communication skills and ability to present and stakeholders including senior leaders
* Proficient with MS Office tools including PowerPoint
* Experience with Tableau desirable
* Knowledge of relational databases, ETL data flows, and web-design beneficial
* Strong work ethic, flexibility, excellent time management and organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and high accountability.
* Experience interacting with business leaders to understand, anticipate and fulfil their requirements for reports and dashboards
