Welder l Job Description:
*Set-up and operate at least one of the following welding machines: Friction Welder, Inertia Welder or Automated Mig Welder
*Interpret blueprints for assembly and weld operations
*Monitor and track weld process using the ultra-sound test method on identified parts
*Train all monitor assembly associates in safety, efficiency and packing
Basic qualifications:
*Print Reading experience
*Basic computer skills (intermediate skill level - basic skills/knowledge - capable of functioning independently while using a computer)
*Ability to read basic gauges (caliper, ruler, height gauge)
*Ability to work with hand tools (dyna-file sanders, de-scalers, die grinder)
*Available to work overtime as needed
*Ability to understand and follow basic job instructions such as Standard Work instructions and/or Standard Operation Procedures
*Ability to handle 15 lb parts
Top candidates will also have:
*6 months manufacturing/welding experience

Shift - 2nd
Starting pay rate: $16.12/hour + $0.60/hour night shift premium
Work location - Sumter, SC (Sumter Pins Facility)
