What you will be doing
Under general direction of the Director - Diversion Control & Security, responsible for conducting investigations and providing support to the Corporate Security & Regulatory Affairs (CSRA) Department.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manages and conducts a variety of proactive and reactive investigations in assigned area of responsibility, including but not limited to controlled substance loss investigations, customer due diligence investigations, potential criminal investigations and code of conduct investigations.
2. Conducts comprehensive risk assessments and recommends corrective action plans, which may include additional security resources such as security officers or covert camera installations or enhanced due diligence processes to prevent diversion.
3. Conducts professional interviews and thoroughly reports and documents the results of those interviews.
4. Acts as the primary liaison with federal, state, and local law enforcement and regulatory authorities, as well as fire and emergency services personnel.
5. Conducts physical security audits and assessments, as well as customer site visits.
6. Conducts and analyzes a variety of reports and information, which may vary according to assignment, including Inventory Adjustments and Customer Returns and Diversion Red Flag analytical reports. Tracks product losses to determine root causes.
7. Assists the Director(s) in managing investigations across the enterprise as assigned.
8. Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time and on short notice.
9. Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like (minimum qualifications)
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad training in related field through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program or equivalent combination of education and experience; BA or BS Degree in related field preferred. Normally requires a minimum of six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience; previous work experience in law enforcement, or the pharmaceutical industry.
