Job Description
Basic Qualifications:
* Active Top Secret Clearance at minimum. Interim Top Secret clearances are not allowed.
* DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher)
* Computing Environment certification (Examples include but are not limited to: A+ CE, CCNA, JNICA)
* Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
* Broad understanding of network technologies, security tools and policies, firewalls, and L2/L3 switch and router devices (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)
* Proficiency in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting both hardware and software solutions
* Previous Joint Regional Security Stacks (JRSS) experience
* Previous experience gathering customer requirements, writing and developing network design and implementation engineering plans
* Knowledge of routing and switching protocol standards such as: TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, SDN, and802.1x
* Familiarity with network performance monitoring tools
* Possess flexibility to operate in a highly dynamic environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness
* Detail oriented with ability to work well in a team environment
