Alcoa Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our Global Functions HR organization, based in Pittsburgh, PA! We are seeking a HRBP who has the aspiration to support organizations based in multiple locations, who will support the people agenda and partner with Global Functions Leaders and Workforce.

The ideal candidate with a demonstrable track record to achieve results in several key HR functions, passion to put that experience to work and have the opportunity to seek growing responsibilities. This candidate will partner with the HR organization (People Solutions, Center of Expertise and Business Partners) and leadership teams in translating business strategy into HR action that drives business results. The responsibilities will require you to apply your broad knowledge of HR and hands-on expertise with proven results in several of the following functions/HR processes.

Main responsibilities:

* Actively engage as a change agent in support of business priorities deploying HR initiatives to build robust, effective teams leveraging and partnering with COEs
* Facilitates and drives inclusion and diversity strategies to meet targets and objectives
* Create and implement tactics to execute HR strategies that achieve the overall business strategy
* Ensure attraction, development and retention of talent for the organization
* Ability to make data-driven decisions
* Diagnose opportunities and needs, provide and implement solutions (performance consultant)
* Positive employee relations build and improve an environment in which employees are actively and willingly engaged in helping improve the business
* Participate in and influence the business in their decision making
* In partnership with Talent Acquisition, proactively execute recruitment strategies that drive quality-of-hire and time to fill
* Support compliance with HR policies and procedures, including Internal Controls, Short Term Disability, FMLA, and other benefit tracking

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Labor/Employee Relations, Business, Organizational Development or a related field of study
* 3 years of Human Resources Business Partner experience
* Proven track record of influencing and advising leaders at all levels
* Workday experience preferred
