Job Description

Summary:

Installs, evaluating, services for fluid ends and power ends on fracturing equipment in home facility or on customer location or customer facility. Competent in speaking with customers on concerns with equipment and applies knowledge and experience to troubleshooting situations. Inspect, diagnose, repair the pump when it shows up to facility or at customer location. Provide service to customers by answering emergency service calls and technical support if needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Must understand and comply with all company safety rules and regulations.
Must be willing to travel.
Able to identify, evaluate, install, and repair related gas and oil process equipment.
Able to complete all documentation as required.
Work with minimal supervision.
Self-starter.
Capable of performing on the job training of equipment.
Work assignments carried out to highest quality level.
Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Knowledge of pneumatic and electric controls.

Job Requirements

Skills/Knowledge

High mechanical aptitude. 
Knowledge of basic electronics.
Knowledge of oil field drilling terminology and processes. 
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Education

High School Diploma required. 
Technical training or the equivalent preferred. 

Experience

1-2 years of experience.

This segment supplies production equipment, including well site production and process equipment; and a range of industrial and process valves. The company was formerly known as Forum Oilfield Technologies, Inc. and changed its name to Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. in August 2010. Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. was incorporated in 2005 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
