Commercial Space & Sea Systems (CSSS) is seeking a Senior Value Stream Lead to assist in leading and growing the EVA and Crew Support Systems Value Stream. This position will focus on maintaining and growing the portfolio of the Crew Support Systems Value Stream. This value stream includes all components and products that are used by and intimate to the spaceflight crew member on the current and future NASA and commercial platforms. This position also drives strategic planning efforts, develops milestones, spearheads solutions for program problems, oversees the P&L; of programs, manages multiple important vendors, and leads contract negotiation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Meeting financial goals in support of the program/value streams Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

Managing the contract lifecycle from Business Development through product life.

Managing program execution, ongoing review of program metrics, and development and execution of corrective action plans to mitigate impact of internal and external issues

Meeting all customer requirements and expectations.

Managing program risks and opportunities to meet program goals

Building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Performing capture manager activities for business development opportunities

Develops 5-to-10-year strategic plan with the strategic team for the value stream

Required Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of related IPT Leadership or equivalent experience

Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily tasks to satisfy the needs of the customer and the value stream

Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, communication, writing and presentation skills. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers, team members and company executives

U.S. Citizenship Required

Education:

This position requires a Bachelors degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
