Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room utilizes the nursing process to ensure delivery of quality nursing care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Directs and guides patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Qualifications
Education:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with PA RN license
* BSN preferred
* CNOR preferred
Certifications:
* Minimum One year of perioperative nursing experience
* BLS & ACLS certification required
Experience
* Operating Room experience with scrub and circulating skills
* Must be a team player with good communication skills.
