ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manual MIG weld product
* Set up robot, adjust fixtures
* Inspect first piece, perform all write ups accordingly
* Operate fork truck, overhead lifting crane
* Retrieve production materials from racking or skids
* Keep accurate records marking off schedules
* Enter all quantities into Casco reporting system
* Move completed parts to the proper storage destination
* Adjust programs robot programming for touch ups
* Abide by all safety and housekeeping rules and regulations
* Perform daily housekeeping tasks
* Ability to work a flexible work schedule to satisfy customer demands
* Assist in other job functions as qualifications and training allows

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Basic mechanical ability
* MIG welding certification or demonstrated ability
* Knowledge of reading various types of inspection equipment
* Ability to apply mechanics to the operation of machines or tools
* Ability to read blue prints
* Basic knowledge and the ability to be trained in the use of various hand and power tools
* Ability to attain fork lift certification and operate forklift
* Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.
* Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement demonstrated by a work history:

* of accuracy and attention to detail in the work performed, and
* of constructive problem solving and suggestions for improvement
* Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

* Must be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours daily
* Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 33 lbs independently and up to 70 with assistance.
* Must be able to handle frequent pushing and pulling
* Will be working in a manufacturing plant with varying climate.
* Must be able and willing to work daily and weekly overtime as required.
