Facebooks Global Operations team exists to help them. Our team is hiring a Business Integrity Associate to define clear business problems and prioritize solutions. Within Trust & Safety, Business Integrity's mission is to ensure safe and trusted connections between people, businesses, and Facebook. Our team works together to anticipate and predict potential threats to our platform, design and build tools to protect against these threats, and then implement and enforce these systems at scale. We leverage data analysis, machine learning and a robust infrastructure to review the quality of promoted content on our platform. We partner closely with several cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and data science, to ensure high quality and safe experiences for both people and businesses across the Facebook family of apps. Successful candidates for this team are adaptable, creative, have a bias toward action, aren't afraid of being wrong, and can successfully work across various teams & countries.

Business Integrity Associate, Technical Responsibilities

* Investigate & define clear business problems and prioritise solutions using data-driven analytics, developing success metrics to measure project performance and alignment with team mission and goals

* Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to see beyond the numbers and pull insights to help identify trends & opportunities to propel the growth of our product & business

* Inform, influence, and execute new strategies and tactics using analysis and impact metrics to support your positions whilst partnering with Operations, Data Science, Product and Engineering teams to solve problems at scale

* Be a thought leader for data-informed initiatives and guide the teams direction overall

* Guide internal and external process improvements, consulting with cross-functional teams to understand needs and pain points related to tools support, solve workflow problems, and ensure internal tools and automation systems are fully leveraged

* Conduct in-depth investigations leveraging large and complex data sets

* Partner with Data Science, Product and Engineering teams to solve problems at scale

* Communicate clearly the progress of monthly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly

* Effectively plan and manage complex projects from the initial ideation phase through final execution to further our mission

* Experience building data pipelines

Minimum Qualifications

* 2+ years of work experience in a role involving strategic/analytical initiatives (i.e. operations, project management, consulting experience, data analysis or technical systems)

* Experience with an object oriented programming language (Java, C++, PHP)

* Experience resolving, communicating, and presenting issues & insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

* Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Preferred Qualifications

* Currently has or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Math/Finance, Physics, Economics, Statistics or other technical disciplines OR work experience in a quantitative field in lieu of a degree

* Experience working and communicating with global teams

* Experience with SQL or Experience with statistical analysis, and a statistical package such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, or Stata

* Experience with reporting systems and data pipeline architecture
